Professional Work

Internship project focused on systems, shop flow, and multiplayer cosmetics.

Cubilete Cup

Game Developer Systems Internship
Game Developer / Software Engineer Intern (BotStacks, Remote) • May 2025 to Aug 2025

Game Overview

Cubilete Cup is a competitive dice game built in Unity with a focus on progression, cosmetics, and multiplayer play. Players earn currency, unlock cosmetic items, and equip skins that sync across sessions and devices.

As an intern, I implemented shop and cosmetic systems end-to-end, including purchase reliability, cloud saving, and multiplayer syncing so players consistently see the correct equipped items.

Project Details

  • Created in-game shop features using Unity IAP (product setup, purchase handling, reliable unlocks).
  • Built cosmetic unlock and equip systems with cloud saving (dice, cups, tables, avatars, music).
  • Implemented TropiCoins earn/spend and syncing across sessions and devices.
  • Added multiplayer cosmetic syncing so skins display correctly for all players.
  • Supported new interns with debugging help, codebase guidance, and clear communication.

School Projects

Group projects focused on leadership, programming, and design.

Vyre’s Veil

Project Leader Artist Animator
Group Project

Game Overview

Vyre’s Veil is an interactive comic that explores the bidirectional flow of time, the block universe, and externalism. Players follow Vyre, a 3rd dimensional being trapped in the 4th dimension, gaining the ability to look forward and backward in time.

As Project Leader, Artist, and Animator, I led the team and owned the visual design and animation direction to ensure the themes were expressed through both narrative and interaction.

Project Details

  • Led production planning and milestone execution to keep scope focused and shippable.
  • Created the art style and animation direction to support the story’s themes and tone.
  • Collaborated on pacing and panel transitions to improve clarity and emotional beats.

Card Casters

Programmer Level Designer
Group Project

Game Overview

Card Casters is a 2D platformer with augmented reality elements, where players control a wizard on a mission to retrieve his stolen hat from the evil goblins. The game features spell-casting mechanics where players scan magic cards to gain abilities or spawn platforms.

As one of three programmers and the only level designer, I developed the core gameplay mechanics, including spell-casting interactions and platform spawning.

Project Details

  • Built and iterated on platform spawning rules to support level flow and readability.
  • Designed levels that teach mechanics early and ramp up difficulty naturally.
  • Collaborated with teammates to align level design with AR card interactions.

CozyVille

Developer Roblox Systems
Personal Project • Aug 2025 to Present

Game Overview

CozyVille is a cozy life sim built in Roblox, centered around relaxing, collecting, exploring, and home decorating. Players gather resources, catch fish and critters, buy furniture, and customize their space with a polished, mobile-friendly UX.

Project Details

  • Built core gameplay loops: inventory, gathering, fishing, shopping, decorating, and pets.
  • Implemented server-authoritative saving/loading patterns to preserve progress across sessions.
  • Designed mobile-friendly UI scaling and interaction patterns for consistent cross-device play.
  • Iterated through playtests to improve polish, clarity, and moment-to-moment feel.
